Until recently, most people believed that power athletes are born and not made. That has changed. Modern training techniques can make anybody faster, stronger, and more powerful. Athletes at all levels - from grade school to the NFL - can sharpen their competitive edge with the help of an expert trainer. As an ISSA student working toward my certification in this area, I will soon be able to help you expand your body's capacity for challenging athletic feats while remaining strong and free from injury.
This certification allows me to perform CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), provide basic first aid support, and take immediate action in the event of sudden cardiac arrest or respiratory distress—ensuring a safe training environment for all clients.
BLS certification goes beyond standard CPR/AED training. It allows me to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies using high-quality CPR techniques, proper airway management, use of an AED, and team-based emergency response protocols. BLS training emphasizes rapid assessment, chest compression quality, ventilation techniques (including use of a barrier device or bag-valve mask), and coordinated response until advanced medical care arrives.
